Beautiful home conveniently located close to downtown Helen in a gated community. The shops and restaurants are within a 20-30 min walk. Nice hiking trails are a short drive away. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, providing all information needed and answering any questions we had. The house was extremely clean, well maintained, well equipped, beautifully decorated and located in a nice area. Very comfortable beds and rooms. One of the best equipped houses I have stayed in. The hot tub was great for relaxing and enjoying the view of the little forest in the backyard. Would stay here again if we come back to Helen. Nothing - everything was perfect.

Property was clean, hosts were amazing and very responsive to communication, wonderful property, great when bringing fur babies, just can’t say enough about how great this place was. Zero complaints.

We loved the house. The best were very comfortable. The weighted blankets throughout the house were perfect for our crew. We had fun family time in the Game Room. The whole family enjoyed one evening in the hot tub and watching a movie in the screened in back porch. We could not get the living room fireplace and lamp to work.

We've just had the most wonderful stay at The Morning Star Overlook and in cannot recommend this absolute gem enough. From the time we booked, the host was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a couple of particular requests that they went our of their way to facilitate - a very rare occurence in the 2026 'computer says no' hellscape we now find ourselves in. In all honesty I can't remember the last time we were that well looked after from afar. The property is incredible. Recently remodelled to a high standard. Super clean with literally every convenience you possibly want or need. Lovely hot tub, fire pit, stunning views and super private too. It's also worth noting that the location is great for things like Amicalola Falls, Talulah Gorge, Helen and Springer Mountain. We really can't praise this property and indeed, host, highly enough. We've been lucky enough to travel all over and this one is world class, so if you're reading this - book it now before somebody else does Many, many thanks once again - we'll look forward to the next time. The cabin was perfect for our little getaway! It was clean, had everything we needed and the location was close in proximity to restaurants and activities. We enjoyed everything except we did have trouble finding oven pans.
